Busy Week

Just a reminder for everyone of this weeks meetings and activities.
1. Monday - Board Interview (Both Boards) for Site Visit @ 4:30
2. Monday - Parent Meetings @ 5:30 in both buildings (Elementary/High School)
3. Monday - Boys District Basketball @ West Hancock. Game time is 7pm.
4. Tuesday - SIAC Interview @ 4:30 at the High School.
5. Tuesday - CTE Interview @ 5:00 at the High School.

Good Luck to our Boys Basketball Team as they Open District Play.

Parent Teacher Conferences

Parent teacher conferences are Tuesday, 4-8pm and Thursday 4-7pm.

Monday is the final home basketball game of the season for our Girls and Boys teams. Come out and support the Panthers! Remember it is also the "Pink Out" night so wear pink if you have it!

Thursday is the Girls Basketball teams 1st round game vs West Bend Mallard in West Bend. Game time is 7pm.

This Friday, Feb 10, is our first snow make up day. Friday is a 2:10 dismissal for students.

Congratulations to our Speech team for receiving a I rating at State Speech!!!!!

Snow Make Up Days

The weather cooperated with us until last week when school was canceled on Friday and this week as school was canceled on Monday. These are the first two snow days of the year and will be made up in February. Scheduled days for snow make up days are as follows.

February 10 - School starts at Normal time, 8:20 but students will be dismissed at 2:10.

February 20 - Normal School Day

Corwith-Wesley Lu Verne dismisses today, Thursday December 22, at 2:10 for Christmas Break.

Classes resume on January 4 at 8:20 am for students.

Danz team is off to the state meet! The team will compete in three events throughout the day (Thursday) at the Wells Fargo/Hy Vee Hall complex!

Parent teacher conferences are off to a great start tonight! There has been a great turn-out at both buildings. Just as a reminder, Parent Teacher conferences take place on Thursday night from 4-8 as well. There is also a book fair taking place in the Elementary building in Lu Verne. The book fair runs from 4-7:30pm tonight(Tuesday) and Thursday night(Nov 10).

While attending parent teacher conferences please take a few moments and take the online community survey for the Corwith-Wesley Lu Verne School Districts. This is a very important tool for the district to gather community input. The on-line survey is available in both buildings. If you have any questions please feel free to ask anyone for assistance.

Final reminder, there is no school this Friday November 11!

I want to send out a few reminders to our CWL parents and community.

Next week is a busy week at CWL as Parent Teacher conferences are Tuesday and Thursday. Conferences run from 4-8pm in each building. A scheudule has been sent home for Elementary students and the High School is set up as an open meeting time. If you have any questions or a conflict and you want to meet with your child's teacher please feel free to contact either office at the following numbers, Elementary 515-882-3357 and High School/Jr. High at 515-583-2304.

Veterans Day will also be observed on November 10 as we do not have school no November 11. The CWL Veterans Day program will be at 9:30am on November 10.

Finally, there will be no school on November 11! A vacation day or students and staff! Hopefully the weather cooperates and gives us a nice day to enjoy.

Just wanted to remind all the CWL Panther Fans that the football game is tomorrow night, Oct 20 at 7pm! Come out and support the Panther Football team as they take on NSK!

We have added an RSS feed link at the bottom of Panther Tracks. RSS feeds allow you to get updated automatically when items are posted on Panther Tracks by having the post sent to your RSS Reader account. You can follow just posts or comments or both.

Again, we will continually look for ways to improve Panther Tracks which will allow it to become a resource for Panther Fans and Families.

I would like to welcome you to the CWL Jr. High and High School Blog, Panther Tracks. The blog is open for anyone to view and post to. I will be posting information on CWL Jr. High and High School here as well as information on what is taking place in the Halls of CWL.
